Fencing has many aspects. It is a skill, it is an art and an exciting road to physical fitness. It is also a mental discipline that teaches self-control and self-understanding. At Bristol White Eagle Fencing Club we believe that it is within the reach of all to experience the thrill, the elegance and the glory of fencing. The skill of fencing, like riding a bicycle, is a matter of having the right technique to start with and then "getting it" as our sub-conscious mind engages with its possibilities.

Children are welcome to join from year 3 onwards

Sessions run on Fridays from 3:15 until 4:30 (with collection from the assembly hall). We supply all protective clothing and equipment and are fastidious when it comes to safety. Mask first! Sword last!

Fees are paid in advance* and the cost is calculated as # of sessions x £7 (the cost for the term will be confirmed in the email accompanying this form).

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis and are confirmed only upon receipt of payment.

*Please note, fees must be paid in full even if your child is unable to attend every sessions.

Media Permission

From time to time Bristol White Eagle Fencing Club takes photographs and video/audio recordings for educational or publicity purposes. We occassionally have media organisations visit us for the same purposes. We will only use suitable images which appropriately represent the range of activities the club provides and the values to which it adheres. We will only use suitable images of children in suitable dress. Individual children will not be named in conjunction with their image without parental consent. The same conditions apply to filming of video or audio recoring of events.
